Monday 13th June - Westminster Hall Debate: E-petition relating to Foreign Aid Expenditure
This debate was tabled by Conservative MP Steve Double MP to consider the foreign aid budget in relation to the Mail on Sunday e-Petition, calling for the UK Government to stop spending 0.7% GNI on International Aid.

27th April - Westminster Hall Debate: Violence Against Women and Girls (Sustainable Development Goals)
This debate considered violence against women and girls and the SDGs, looking at Goal 5 of the SDGS - "Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls" and the associated targets flowing flow this goal.
DFID Minister Nick Hurd responded to the debate highlighting the Government's work in the area and the importance of women in delivering sustainable development.

25th April - Westminster Hall Debate: Nepal Earthquake First Anniversary
This debate marked the anniversary of the Nepal Earthquake which affected the region last year. DFID Minister Desmond Swayne MP responded to the debate, highlighting DFID's work in Nepal following the earthquake and emphasising the need to focus on reconstruction in the region.

21st April - Westminster Hall Debate: Clean Water and Sanitation (Africa)
DFID Minister Nick Hurd responded to this debate, highlighting this important issue which is central to the Government's work in Africa to help people out of poverty.

13th April - Westminster Hall Debate: Sustainable Development Goals
This debate, tabled by Conservative MP Ben Howlett, focused on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, asking, who is in charge of the implementation of the goals in the UK, what is being developed and when our approach is going to be tested? DFID Minister Desmond Swayne MP responded to the debate setting out DFID's approach to the SDGs and what is being done to ensure we meet them.
Conservative MPs Wendy Morton, Helen Grant also took part in the debate.

12th April - Westminster Hall Debate on HIV: Women and Girls
This debate was tabled by Conservative MP Mike Freer, to reflect on the progress made in tackling HIV and AIDS and, in particular, in ending the AIDS epidemic as part of the SDGs.

2nd March - UQ on the Humanitarian Crisis in Greece
The Secretary of State gave a statement to the House of Commons to update them on the humanitarian situation in Greece. Outlining the UK's £55million support for the Mediterranean migrant crisis response and how the UK is working across the EU to ensure a humanitarian crisis is averted.

8th February - Statement on UK's response to Syria
Secretary of State, Justine Greening gave a statement to the House on the UK's response to the Syrian crisis following the Syrian conference. More here.

27th January - Westminster Hall Debate: Syrian Refugees
